Shillong Sept, 25:The District Level Art And Cultural Competetion was Held at Seng Khasi Secondary School ,Jaiaw Shillong on 24 September,2013.The programs was organized by District Art Cultural Society, Deputy Commissioner office, East KhasuiHill District Shillong.
Its may be mentioned that this program it help for the first time in the District in order to revive and preserve the culture and tradition of our society. The program its hoped to initiate the student and young to learn and spread the rich culture and tradition of our society.
Various competion like painting , cartooning , and Creative, Writing , folk song, folk dance , indigenious instrumental and quiz, were organize for junior and senior category. The winner of the block level competion participated in this program.
District Planning Officer, Office East Khasi Hill District, Mrs C D lyngwa chaired the day long program in the presence of Proff. Streamlet Dkhar ,Khasi Department , NEHU, mrs Silvi Passah , Mrs Minimon Laloo, Mr WS Challam, Inspector of school East Khasi Hill District and Prof Eric Nongkynrih , St Edmunds college.
