Shillong, December 18: The dorbar shnong of Shillong respect the request of the Deputy Commissioner of the East Khasi Hills not to block the traffic flow on any day that they carried out cleaning drive in their area or locality.
Today many dorbar shnong of Shillong carried out their annual cleaning drive in their area before the Christmas festival. But surprisingly today there is not blocked of traffic flow in various locality where the cleaning drives taken place.
Speaking to SP News Agency the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills Shri S Goyal said that is not a matter of request but he tried to find a solution in order not to have a road block during the hours of cleaning drive.
He only asked the dorbar shnong concern to coordinate with the superintendent of police for traffic regulation during the cleaning drive. The DC also inform that he has received so many complain about the road blocked when the cleaning drive taken place.This has Couse a lot of inconveniences to the people of others locality .(SP News)
