Shillong, July 08: Dr Krishan Kant Paul today take oath as the 13th governor of Meghalaya, the oath of secrecy was administered by the chief justice of the Meghalaya High Court Chief Justice T. Meena Kumari at the Raj Bhavan Hall.
During the ceremony who where present the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Dr Mukul Sangma and his council of minister, the Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly AT Mandal and Dr Donkupar Roy Leader of the Ophistion.
Dr Paul is not new to the North Eastern Sate since he was the head of the police in Arunachal Pradesh. Since he has served in the intelligence wing he is well aware of the north East and Meghalaya.(SP News)
