Shillong, June 24: The Chief Secretary of Meghalaya Mr WMS Pariat said that the situation in Garo Hills ia a great concerns for the state government, where eight laboures where kill and three seriously injured in the coal mind area of Nangalbibra in South Garo Hills.
According to report it was told that at around 11.30 mid night a group of unknown miscreant attacked there coal mine area in Nangalbibra under south Garo hills in this incident eight people where kill and three others where injured.
The state government has taken preemptive step see that the low and order situation is under control. The Government has sent three additional company forces to Garo hills and re deployment of state police to ensure that normalcy will be their in Garo Hills.
The Chief Secretary also said that the government has requested the central government if they could send additional forcers to the state. The state government has asked for anthers four additional companies.
When asked about the names of thus laboures who where the Chief Secretary said that they ares still awaiting the official report but its was confirm that eight where murder and three where injured. The incident took place late mid night yester day.
Acording to official report the decease has been identified in the afternoon today, they are Babul Ali, Jiarul Islam, Ajot Ali, Azur Ali, Modon Ali, Moral Hauz, Ismail Ali , Shahjahan Ali. But till late afternoon their navtive place is not yet known.(SP News)
