Shillong, October 24th, 2013: The Entrance Examination for admission of boys to Class VI and IX in Sainik School Goalpara for the academic session 2014-15 will be held on 5th January, 2014. For admission to Class VI, boys should be 10-11 years of age as on 1st July, 2014 while for Class XI the age should be 13-14 yaears as on 1st July, 2014.
Admission forms and prospectus are on sale from 14th October to 30th November, 2013. Prospectus and registration fee for General/ Defence Category is Rs 400/- (by hand) and Rs 450/- (by post) and for SC& ST candidates is Rs 250/-( by hand) and Rs 300/- (by post) through Bank Draft drawn in favour of Principal, Sainik School Goalpara payable at SBI Mornai (Code 9148). Application can also be downloaded from the school website www.sainikschoolgoalpara.org and the downloaded application form should be supported by a photocopy of Birth Certificate attested by a Gazetted Officer or Certificate from school showing proof of age and photocopy of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe Certificate duly attested.
