Shillong, Nov ,01:Department of tourism ,Meghalaya with the support of NEC, Government of India is organizing a familiarization tour for International and national tour operator to the state from 4th to 10th November this year. The purpose of the fam tour is the show case , promote and market the state vast tourism ppotential to further increase internationalan gdomestic Tuorist to the state , the duration of the fam tour is for a week where they will visit various identified tourist location of the state.
The international Tour Operator are from united Kingdom , France , Germany, Israel, Japan, South Africa , Korea , Bangladesh, Ireland , Newzeland , Singapur,Italy and Thailand.There are 28 Domestic Tour Operator from all over the country who will be attending the Fam Tour.
A B2B meet be held on 5th November 2013 with the local tour operator and others tourism state holder for presentations, and interaction for a comprehensive marketing and promoting and promotion of the entire state.(SP News)
