Tura, Sept 11: The police of Tura have arrested thirteen people in connection with the incident that happen in the Deputy Commissioner Officer where members of the Garo Hills State movement were involved.
The Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills Parvin Bakshi told SP News Agency that today the police have arrested thirteen members who let the attacked to the staff of the DC Officer all have been for word to judicial custody.
The members of the Garo Hills state movement have done it with the criminal intention by manhandling even women and Tourist. The Deputy Commissioner condemns the incident and the hills state movement leaders should have to take the responsibility.
From among the thirteen who were arrested one prominent leaders of the student organization, from Tura Pavement was arrested. In the incident one female tourist from Mumbai was manhandle by the members of the Garo Hills state movement. (SP News)
