Shillong June 24: The Film Screening Committee for the East Khasi Hills District has been constituted by the government under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong and Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations, East Khasi Hills as Member Secretary of the Committee.
The Film Screening Committee will screen films and issue certificates accordingly for public viewing. Henceforth, all the film makers of the District are directed to get their film certified by the Film Screening Committee before releasing of the same.
