For over all development Vision Document for The State of Meghalaya 2030 prepare

 

Shillong, June 10: The Government of Meghalaya, has engaged National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, to prepare the Vision document for the state of Meghalaya 2030. The document consist of 209 pages.

The National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) has taken this giant task to prepare this vision document since 2011 and the draft proposal was place in the planning department website for public to view the document.

The  six members team Mr M. Govinda Rao, Chandan Mukherjee, Anuradha Bhasin,  Alokesh Barua,  Mukesh Anand,  Rita Pandey and R. Srinivasan of the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy has presented in the vision document the prose and corn to what the government should do to make Meghalaya to catch up with the rest of the Country in the development.

In the vision document the team has pointed out that to developed its required the participation of the public and with the help of the central government since Meghalaya was place under the Special category state.

Sources told SP News Agency that the Cabinet is yet to adopt the vision document 2030. The Planning department is asking the NIPFP to re-correct certain point which the planning department fill need before it take to the cabinet for adopting the document to be a guiding force for the government to follow in implanting various development work in the state.(SP News)
