For relaxation on physical high state government has to write to the GOI: Colonel Kumar

Tarun Kumar Indian army officerShillong,  July 20: The Director in charge recruiting of the North East Colonel  Tarun Kumar  said that from their side they have tried their level best  to co ordinate with all state government  Deputy Commissioner  to pass own the message to  the Youth of the North Eastern state to “ Please come and joint the Indian Army” in the rally which started today in Shillong.

While speaking to media person on the recruiting site at Polo Colonel Tarun Kumar said that there is no reservation quota in the Indian army it all depend on their  personal performance of the  individual, the selection is open to all.

When asked whether any special relaxation in their physical high for the people of North East  since they are shot in stature, The Colonel  Tarun Kumar  said that there is a standing order  of the Government of India that there is a relaxation  for  certain category  in their physical high of two centimeter  in the army.

If any state government fills the need that the physical high of their respective state need to reduce the state government has to write to the central government for consideration  for relaxation from what the government of India has set the norms.

The colonel Tarun Kumar also advice  to all section of people  that not to fall pray  to any person who will asked them  that they can help in getting through in the army recruitment. The recruitment process is very transparent if any information is required people can approached the recruitment office near the Garison ground for the state of Meghalaya.

The army is also encoring female to joint in the Indian army where a good respond has been shown from to state that is Mizoram and Manipur. The army will organized lecture in various collage to instill into the mind of the people of the region to joint the Indian army not only for job opportunity but to be proud to served in the Indian army.(SP News)
