Shillong, Sept 09: The Former member of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Laban Mawprem Manas Choudhury said that he is contemplating to file with the defamation case against thus people who alleged that he has swindle public fund during his eight years as public representative.
Speaking to media person today at the Shillong press club the former Education minister and MLA, he plead that he is innocent. He also said that if he is doing wrong in his publice life he do not mind if they alleged, but what he has done is that he has treid his best to perform to the best of his ability.
He also said that he has approached the Director of Urban Affair Department since the Special Urban Work Programmed was funded by the department. He want a clarification from him if he has done any wrong in implementing the scheme.
He also demanded from the government that let the MLA skhim fro the 60 MLA should be put in the Government website for people to know it. But unfortunately the government is not doing so for the reason best known to them only.(SP News)
