Shillong,January,04: Free Eye Camp was organised by Seng Samla Sanmer along with Bansara Eye Care Centre and Employment Regeneration Committee of Synjuk Seng Samla Shnong (SSSS).
Shri Ronnie V Lyngdoh local MLA and Government Chief Whip Meghalaya Legislative Assembly appreciating the role taken up by Seng Samla Sanmer and SSSS. In today’s context of health care and awareness, it is good that such pro-active role taken by NGO will really help the people gets the maximum benefit as it will be difficult for the government alone to go out single-handed on its own.
He appreciated the role taken up by Bansara Eye Care Centre under the able leadership of well known ophthalmologist of the region and state Dr (Mrs) Jenny V Basaiawmoit. Dr Jenny impressed upon the people not to wait until you get in contact with different eye diseases as the same could be avoided before hand and taken care of if periodically check up is being taken.
