Shillong, July 29: Meghalaya Youth Foundation in collaboration with Mission Trust, Bawri Netharalaya, Shillong and the NSS Unit of Holy Child H.S. School, Demthring, conducted a “Free Eye Check-Up Camp” at Mawber Village, East Khasi Hills District on Saturday.
During the camp people from Mawber and Umsaw villages were given free check up by eye specialist and were given free spectacles, some were referred for further Free Eye Medical assistance and some were even referred for Free Eye Surgery for Cataract patients.
Besides, as part of the programme tree Plantation Programme was also conducted on the day in which few Tree Saplings were planted.(SP News)
