GNLA Militant threw grenade two civilan injured in Jadi East Garo Hills

Tura, August 20: The militant group of the Garo national Liberation Army (GNLA) today at around 11.30 Am threw a grenade at the place call Jadi under Nangal Police station. In this incident two civilian persons was injured.

The Bomb that the GNLA lobed was at a wine shope, the reason might be that the GNLA has demanded from this shop but refuse to bow to the militant.

According to the  report said that the Militant group who were their in the coal belt area might belong to the Rakkam Group of jadigittam. The police has rush to the spot and combing operation is on.

According to report said that recently the leaders of the GNLA under the leadership of Sohan D Shira  held the meeting along with the Co-Chairman Hohoe Gatamra, General secretary Susonge Jakrimra and Pantere Singgasik in a un disclosed place have taken the decision to continued to fight for a separate Garoland.(SP News)
