Shillong, June 21: Smti Rosana Lyngdoh of Impulse NGO Network, Shillong lodged a complaint that on Feb. 26, 2013 that one Gilrs from Shillong has left for Kolkatta for job but whens she reached Kolkata she was trafficked to Goa.
After getting this complaint the Meghalaya has requested counterpart in Goa to look for the girls where her name and her detail was provided from the Meghalaya police to the Goa Police. The Goa Police also has work hard to trace the Shillong girls and recently they have rescued her from one of the Brothel in Goa.
The Goa police has inform the Meghalaya police and the girls was brought back to Shillong and handed over to her relative.(SP News)
