Shillong, June 27: The Director general of Prison Mr Kulbir Kishan has handed over charge to mr Prem Singh in his absence. The officer hand over is done today at 11 AM to Mr AIG MK Sangma till mr singh came back from his leave.
Talking to SP News Agency Mr Kishan said that he got the government notification reliving him as DG Prinson at nine o’clock at night at his residence and today morning he handed over to the acting DG prison Mr Sangma.
Mr Kishan was the DG prison for four years and one month, he said that on the month of April this year he has given in writing to the government asking the government to relief from the post of DG Prison but the government give quit only yesterday he got the notification from the government.
