Government of India try to diversified the RSBY Cards: Anil Swarup

Shri Anil Swarup 1Shillong, May 01: The Additional Secretary  Cum Director General , Labour welfare , government  of India Shri Anil Swarup  while addressing the  state level  workshop  on the implementation of the Rashtriya  Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY)  said that the government of India is trying to diversified  the  Cards  for various  needs.

The  schemes was started in 2008 in the whole country  and at present only  34 millions house hold are having the RSBY Cards, The  Chhattisgarh government is doing well in this regard and Meghalaya Government has   taken the bold step to implement it.

Shri  Swarup  said that during the course of implementation their will be a lot of  criticism, but take this as a lesson to learn it from the criticism that people made,  its is not that what they do is correct their might be loophole while framing the rules.

What most important is that, the quality of services that they gave to the public is more important. He also asked the people concerns that  fraud should not be taken place.  The purpose of this   state level workshop is  to clear the doubt that people have in mind.

In this state level workshop all state government  officials from all the District have attend the one day workshop.  The document distributed in the workshop show that  the cost for registration to avail the RSBY Schemes is Rs 30. Only.  Detail discussion on how to implement the schemes is discuss during the technical session.(SP News)
