Shillong, June 13: The Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma in his reply to the question raises by the UPD MLA Dr Jemino Mawthoh on power purchases from others corporation the inform the house that the government has purchases power from NEEPCO Rs. 6.37 per Unit, from HPTC Rs. 2.75 from NTPC Rs.3.90 and from ONGC Tripura Rs. 2.53.
The Dues that still pending with the above company are, with the NEEPCO Rs. 354.49 Cores, with the NHPC Rs. 21.44 Cores, with the NTPC Rs.10.04 Cores and with the ONGC Tripura is Rs. 0.01 Cores.
Answering the supplementary question, the Chief Minister inform that house that the government wish to buy power at the cheaper rate if possible but that above rate was fix by the central regulatory commission on the power allocate for the state.(SP News)
