Government should provide 12 LPG cylinders: HPSO

Shillong October 29:Reacting on the government’s decision to cut down the supply of LPG gas cylinders to six cylinders annually to the people of the state, the president of the HPSO Kyrshan War said that the government should reconsider the decision and instead provided twelve cylinders to the people of the state.

Talking to SP News, War said questioned the government saying that in other states where Congress is ruling the people gets nine cylinders per card but what about the state of Meghalaya cannot the central government provided nine cylinders per card when the ruling party is Congress.

War also stated that how is it that the congress party in the state does not have any question to the AICC in terms of allocation of LPG cylinders when in most of the occasion it always go by the decision of the AICC.

Meanwhile, War said that the decision of the government to cut down the supply of subsidised LPG to the people of the state cannot be accepted.(SP News Agency)
