Nongstoin, Jan 22: The Deputy Commissioner west khasi hills District has inform that cleam and green village awards was introduce to promote a scene of competition among village to preserved and keep the environment and surrounding clean.
Base on the proposal sent by the district level selection committee, the state level selection committee has selected Mawmluh and Nongkhlaw from Nongstoin block, Mawsynnam from Mawthadraishan block, Mawlong Nonglyput and Nongrummai from Mairang block for the awards.(SP News)
