Shillong ,jan 16: :To re-look an assess the needs of the people in the improvement of health service which are being provide by the Government of India grass root will organized a public hearing at Shella Bholagan block on 17 .12014, at an Mawryngkneng block on 22.1.2014.
It is worth mentioning that Grassroot is one of the NGOs who facilitate the community Monitoring under NRHM in East Khasi Hill District . Grassroot kick started the programme in November 2011 in Mawryngkneng Block ,Laitkroh khaddar shnong Block and Shella Bholaganj Block.
The activities of the organization include need assessment , orientation program for the Block level of each PHC s and VHSNCs ,formation of community monitoring and planning committee for the selected PHCs and Villages.data collection awareness public hearing.(SP News)
