Shillong, May 24: On 23rd May, 2013 GVK EMRI has signed MoU under Public-Private Partnership with the Government of Rajasthan in Jaipur.
The agreement with Government of Rajasthan today to run eight Emergency Response Services signed by Shri Subodh Satyawadi, Chief Executive Officer, GVK EMRI whereas Shri Deepak Upreti, I.A.S, Principal Secretary- Medical and Health Department & Medical Education signed on behalf of Govt of Rajasthan in the presence of Shri Aimaduddin Ahmad Khan, (Durru), Hon. Health Minister of Rajasthan, Ms Gayatri A. Rathore, I.A.S, MD, NRHM and Shri Rajendra Kumar Verma, PD, NRHM. GVK EMRI would shortly take over operation of 464 ambulances in the initial stage in the state covering population of more than 7 crores in all districts.
Speaking on the occasion Shri Deepak Upreti congratulated GVK EMRI on being selected for operating 108 emergency services in the Rajasthan. Wishing the staff of GVK EMRI all the very best, Mr Upreti said that the Health Department, Government of Rajasthan is committed towards providing better health infrastructure to the society and established as benchmark of Health Service in the state. People are the real asset for any society and providing them the best health care facilities is always on the top on our agenda.
