Shillong, August 22: The Hynniewtrep Achick National Movement (HANM) of West Khasi Hills today submitted a memorandum to the Chief Secretary Mr WMS Pariat asking the government to transfer the Deputy Commision West Khasi Hills Mr S Kharlyngdoh.
In the memorandum the organization has pointed out that the terms of service as per government norm that any government servant his services should be more than three years in one place. The term of the DC West Khasi Hills is due on the 26th July last month.
The main reason that the HANM want his transfer because he has done nothing for the development of West Khasi Hills and the worst thing what has happen in west Khasi Hills is that the DC instead of solving the problem of the candidate who has pass the DSC examination 2010 he is adding the fire into it, alleged HANM.
After submitting the Memorandum the president of the organization of West Khasi Hills said that they have given ten days time to the government to transfer the Deputy Commissioner if the government fail to comply to their demand they will call for the agitation in the West Khasi Hills Ditrict.(SP News)
