Shillong, June 29: The much awaited Hoobastank concert disheartened the music lovers who thronged the 5th Ground Polo, here on Saturday with the concert being disrupted out of technical snag with the sound system.
With full zeal and excitecment from the fans who went to 5th Gound Polo to sing along with the band however mid-way there was a technical snag which disrupted the band from playing for atleast half and hour drive the crowd mad.
As the band were playing their numbers which drag the crowd to cheer with them amidst showers of rain, suddenly there was a technical sound problem.
This problem drive the fan wild who even taunt the event management and call it a bad management ever.
Though the event managment as well as the sound management team tried hard to rectify the problem but the anxious crowd who could not stant the delay starting shouting even as one bottle was thrown at the stage.
With the bottle reaching the stage, the Special Operating Team and the members of the Bouncers Association of Meghalaya rushed to the stage to prevent any untoward incident.
It altogether took half an hour before the band could again perform.
Coming again to the stage, the band vocalist Doug Robb expressed his greatful gratitude to his fans who did not leave the ground but with full hopes they waited for the snag to be rectified.
“Technical problems use to be there but it is really nice to see that the music lovers bear with it,” Doug Robb said.
However, to the music lovers of the state, all angered lost when the band started playing for the second time especially when the band play the favourite number to most of teh shillong fans “The Reason”. (SP News)
