Shillong, Feb 27: In connection with the celebration of the Youth Synod (East) of Khasi and Jaintia Hills which will be held on the 2/3/2014 at Mawpat, Lumkynjoin, Shillong the traffic arrangements are as follows, Light vehicles with car passes will be parked on the right side of the area while approaching the venue which is close to the venue at Lumkynjoin.
Light and heavy vehicles without passes will be parked on the left side of the area while approaching the venue at Lumkynjoin. Additional parking for all type of vehicles has also been made in around the venue in case the above mentioned parking spaces are fully occupied.
All vehicles proceeding to the venue will enter through the NEIGHRIMS- Mawpat junction road. All vehicles coming from Jaintia Hills District proceeding to Mawpat are requested to use the Shillong Bye-Pass Road, Diengpasoh road. Vehicles coming from Shillong are to use the normal route. 7. Route from Mawpat Taxi Stand to Ishrywat will be made one-way.
