Shillong, March 07: The election for the speaker post was schedule to be held on the 11 of this month but yet the Congress party who got the majority find itself difficult to select a suitable person for the speaker post.
Sources closed to the congress told SP News Agency said that the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma want a person who is close to him to be the speaker. Many of the senior congress MLA want to see themslef that they may be included in the cabinet.
The close friends of Dr Mukul who is also the Taxation minister in the last government Mr AT Madal will be asked to take up the post of the speaker. (SP News)
