Shillong, May 04: The Meghalaya Board of School Education today has announced the result of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) in the Science stream which was held on the month of March this year.
The total number of student who appears in the science stream is 3238 out of which boy’s are 1674 and girls 1564. The total of girls who secure in the first position is 500 whiles the boys only 455. The over all percentage of passing is 73.29%.
The percentage of passing in the district wise the West Khasi hills 77.04% , East Khasi Hillls 74.86%, Ri Bhoi 73.49%, West Garo Hills 60.39%, East Garo Hills, 68.18% South Garo Hills 0%, South West Khasi Hills 82.93%, West Jaintia Hills 86.05%, East Jaintia Hills 6.25%, North Garo Hills 81.40% and from south West Garo Hills no student appear for the examination.(SP News)
