Shillong January 16: Nehru Yuva Kendra Shillong in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Meghalaya is organizing 5 (five) Days Inter District Integration Camp from 16th to 20th January 2013 at YOUTH HOSTEL, Shillong.
At least 150 participants from 7 districts of Meghalaya namely, East Khasi Hills, Ribhoi, West Khasi Hills, Jaintia Hills, West Garo Hills, East Garo Hills and South Garo Hills will be taking part in the camp. Various activities such as Folk dance competition, folk song competition, group discussion, working on wall Magazines, seminar on youth issues and skill development etc will be conducted in the camp.
On 20th January 2013 there will be State Youth Convention on Entrepreneurship Skill Development in collaboration with IGNOU Institute of Vocation Education & Training (IIVET) ,Shillong in which interested candidates would like to be enrolled for different Skill Development Training Courses of IIVET to be fully sponsored by NYKS.
The Inaugural function of the programme will be held on the 17th January 2013 at 1.30 p.m. at Youth Hostel, Shillong. In this occasion, we would like to invite your good self to kindly you’re your valuable presence in the function so that the massage of integrity among different ethnic youth groups of state can be reached out to the general public.(SP News)
