Shillong, August 08: Shri Tony Thabah, ex-Headman of Umsaw Mawjynrong, Lummawblei lodged a complaint at Mawlai PS that in the year 2011, one Arnesson Dkhar along with his accomplices took him to Mawiong, Shillong.
In that day they threatened him with dire consequences and asked to sign the fake land documents in the name of Sivia Nongrum. In his FIR file at the Mawlai Police station that he has sign the fake document out of fear,
At the same time Smt. Wistilian Sohtun lodged a complaint at Laban Police Station that on 31th July she made a deal with one Arnesson Dkhar to purchase a plot of land measuring 44,000 Sq. ft. at the rate of Rs. 48,40,000/- (Rupees Forty-eight lakh forty thousand) only and also paid an advance of Rs. 6 lakh (Rupees Six lakh) only. Later, the complainant found that the land document was fake.(SP News)
