Shillong, Septe 04: The members of the JACATCM continued their agitation in protest about the indifference attitude of the state government to their demand hold dharna in all the District headquarters in the entire eleven Districts in the state.
The teachers who are under the umbrella of the JACATCM, want the state government to provincialise the services of the teachers but the government provincilise the school. The JACATCM want to meet the education minister on the issued but the minister refused to meet them.
Anoint by the indifference from the minister the JACATCM has taken series of agitation started with wearing of black flag and continued their agitation till today and tomorrow with the public rally at Malki ground.
Sources closed to the JACATCM said that the teachers want to know the mind of the government weather they will grant their demand or not and have a dialogue on the issued face by them but the government is adamant which force them to take the path of agitation.(SP News)
