JNV School authority may deny new admission for lack of accommodation

Shillong, June 01: The  Jawahar Nabodaya Vidyalaya  Authority may deny new admission for lack of accommodation at  various centre in the state of Meghalaya particularly in East Khasi Hills  due to lack of accommodation.

Parents who have sent their children for the written test conducted by the JNV authority for admission in class VI where worried weather their child if they pass they will be administer or not in the JNV  since there is accommodation problem.

The JNV Mawphlang do the construction of the permanent complex  for the School is completed but yet to get water connection,  and the JNV at Mawsynram is yet to construct the permanent campus.  Both the JNV School is run from their temporary site.

The Government of India use to admit forty new students every academic year but due to luck of accommodation and Meghalaya may lose those seat  if  the government is not speeding up their work in completing the construction of the permanent complex.(SP News)
