Shillong, Sept 30: The Grand Council of Chiefs of Meghalaya (comprising of Ka Dorbar Ki Khlieh Nongsynshar, Federation of Khasi State, Dolloiship, Sirdarship) will meet on 2 October 2013, 12 PM noon in the office of Bah John F Kharshiing, at Lumjingsuk, Demthring, Shillong, to discuss the letter from Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India, No. D.O. No. 9./10/2012 dated 18 July 2012, addressed to Chief Secretary, Meghalaya; The KHADC Village Administration Bill 2013; the need for a KHADC clan Bill (Dorbar Kur or Seng Kur) and also to discuss on the prevailing situation arising out of the NGO’s agitation in the State.(SP News)
