Shillong, August 22: The Khasi Student Union (KSU) central body let by the president Daniel Khyriem met the chief Secretary of the state WMS Pariat . In these meeting they have asked the chief secretary to extend the validity of the DSC result of the West Khasi Hills District.
The KSU central body intervene in the matter as the candidate who has pass the DSC examination 2010 conducted by the DSC Nongstoin is on the agitation path in the form of hunger strike in the premised of the Deputy Commissioner office Nongstoin.
In the meeting the Chief Secretary inform the KSU leaders that the same was under process it wait for the approval of the Chief minister. From the KSU appealed to the agitators to call off their hunger strike.(SP News)
