Shillong, May 6: Considering the scam that was taken place at CMJ University, the Khasi Student Union demanded the government to arrest all those associated with the scam.
This decision was taken by the KSU after meeting with the Principal Secretary of the Education Department PS Thagkhiew here on Monday.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, KSU leader said that the Government must conduct a probe into the scam and arrest people who are involved in the scam.
The biggest concern for the students of the CMJ at the moment is the fact that they are having an exam on May 24 and KSU has urged the Government to find out a solution to the entire jinx.
“The Government can affiliate the students to another universities in view of their exams,” KSU leader added.
It was also learnt that during the meeting, the officer said that the Government cannot do anything into the matter as the order with regards to anomalies in the university came from the Government and accordingly the students decided to shot off a letter to the Governor urging him to solve the entire situation.(SP News)
