Shillong, Dec 03: It is clear that Rev PBM Basaiwmoit is the candidate from the People candidate for the fourth coming Lok Sabha Election that is due early next year in the press statement he said.
“ I greatly appreciate the commitment, dedication and untiring pursuit of the People’s Candidate Forum (PCF) since March, 2013 to work unsparingly in seeking People’s consensus for the Lok Sabha Elections, 2014 by first approaching registered and recognised Political Parties and for also identifying a man among the crowd, such as I, to be the People’s Candidate”.
“I further express my heartfelt gratitude to both the HSPDP and KHNAM for having responded positively to the PCF‘s appeal in, separately, deciding to lend full support to my candidature.
With a deep sense of humility, I acknowledge the faith and confidence reposed and encouragement with blessing given by a wide and cross section of the people from all the six Districts, urging me to, once again, stand as a candidate for the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections due in April, 2014.
In the light of aforementioned developments, I have also listed the general and specific Programme of Action, I would undertake inside and outside the portals of Parliament, in addition to what the people of 1- Shillong Parliamentary Constituency would wish me to do in the five years, 2014-19 and as per provisions of the Union and Con-current Lists of the Vllth Scheduled. I would appeal to all to go through the points there-in and provide feedback with insights and inputs and for possible additions.
