Management of Kingdom talent Hunt organise a mega event ‘Kingdom Talent Hunt

Shillong, April 11: The Management of Kingdom talent Hunt (KTH) with an aimed to tap and to nurture young local and talented Gospel singing groups will organise a mega event called ‘Kingdom Talent Hunt 2013’.

Informing this at a press conference here on Thursday, Public Relation manager, Sanbor L Ryngnga said that the mission of organizing the event is to encourage gospel singing groups all over the state to participate and showcase their God-given talents.

He also added that the sole aim is to bring unity and tranquility amongst all people groups and tribes of the state.

“We are working and are in the process of partnering with national and international organizations for nurturing such talents to the highest level,” Ryngnga asserted.

Further elaborating on the different procedures of the event, Ryngnga said the event will kick start with an audition round, then moves on to three different rounds and ultimately wraps up with a Grand Finale.

“The auditions will start from April 20 from 10 Am at various locations, in Tura auditorium, Anderson School Hallm Nongstoin and Marian Hill Secondary School Hall, Jowai,” Ryngnga informed adding “On April 23, the audition will begin from noon in Pdeng Shnong Dorbar Hall, Sohra and Christian School Hall, Nongpoh,” addiing that the final audition will be held at PCI conference Hall, Shillong and on April 27 from 10 AM onwards.

Besides, it was also informed that only 25 contesting groups will be selected from the auditions for the main competition. During the auditions the participants will solely be judged by the judges.

However, after the auditions are over 30 percent decisions will be observed from the judges, 10 percent from Facebook (likes) and 60 percent on votes via SMSs.”

He also informed that winners of the competition will have a privilege of singing a record deal for a gospel music video besides cash rewards.
