Shillong, December 17: A driver of a Maruti Alto travelling towards Shillong from Nongstoin sustained injuries when the vehicle was involved in a head on collision on a turning with a truck coming from the opposite direction. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Mairang helped in shifting Hasper Nongsiej to Tirot Singh memorial Hospital, Mairang. The incident happened at Manai under Mairang Block, West Khasi Hills.
In the process of avoiding a head on collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction a Maruti 800 local taxi (MLO4A – 2318) hit the wall on the side of the road near the petrol pump at Mawryngkneng the emergency ambulance 108 shifted the injured to Civil Hospital, Jowai.
A motorist and a pillion rider sustained injuries when they fell off the motorbike after it skidded near the MBOSE Office at Daldagre under Rongram Block, West Garo Hills .The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Tura helped in shifting Rajiv Koch (20years/male) and Vikash Koch (16years/male) to Civil Hospital, Tura. The injured victims were on their way to Garobadha from Tura when the incident happened.
