Shillong, May 29: The Mawrong village in Ri Bhoi District has dispelled one family for alleged practice which craft. This family has to obey the dictate of the village and felt away to Bhoirymbong for their safety.
Mr Selekos Shadap and his wife Bahunlang Rympai told the media that the village authority on the 12th March 2013 has asked them to sign in the register of the village that they were dispelled from the village.
Narrating the incident Mr Shaday the father of the family with out rime or reason the village authority allege them of practicing which craft (Menshohnoh). The father of the family said that they have reported to the Umsning Police Out Post but till now nothing has been done.
From their and the clan of his wife smit Rympai has written a letter to the village authority that they want to reconcile so that the dispelled family can go back to their home at Mawrong but nothing was done.
Their intention of taking the matter to the media is to request the government of Meghalaya to take necessary step so that they will be able to go back to their house which they have build at Mawrong.(SP News)
