Shillong, Nov 14: The Assam police yesterday have sent message to all North Eastern State after one of the satellite news channel from Guwahati received a sms message from the mobile numbers 9856930587 saying that their will be a bomb blast at the Chief Minister Conference in Guwahati.
The Meghalaya Police after getting the alert message from the counter part from Assam trace down the number and found that the mobile number was register in Meghalaya from Rynjah.
The police swept into action and arrested the person from Rynjah. The sender of the threat SMS Identified as Khajin Haloi 38, he hail from Koraijolinghat of Nalbari District of Assam. The police have also recover the phone that he used fro sending the SMS.(SP News)
