Tura, May 7: Chesan Ch. Marak and Netra Dechiga S. Sangma, both aged
12 years from here are undergoing training at Hebei Zhengding
International training centre, China. They are representing India,
along with 11 others chosen from across the country.
Chesan and Netra were ranked No. 1 in the state last year in the cadet
category and have represented Meghalaya in the national and
inter-state tournaments.
Chesan son of Johnny A Sangma and Chechi Ch. Marak is a class VIII
student of Don Bosco Secondary School, whereas Netra is daughter of
Balnang R Sangma and Sunita S. Sangma, a class VIII student of Tura
Public School.(SP News)
