Shillong, Nov 09: The parliamentary secretary, government of Meghalaya in charge home and education Mr Winnerson D Sangma, today received an SMS demanding that he should pat five lakh.
Mr Winnerson D Sangma is the MLA of Salmanpara Constituency from GaroHills, the police strongly belief that this SMS was sent from the militant outfit from Garo Hills, this was not the first case earlier mkany MLA from Garo Hills received such SMS from the militant.
Mr Sangma has lodge the complaint with the police and the police have started their investigation on fine out who is behind the SMS that sent to the MLA and demand money from him.(SP News)
