Shillong, Sept 10: Today at around 7 pm in the evening un known miscreants torched the bus having the registration number ML05 A 8518 at Nongmynsong which requisite by the police.
The driver of the bus park few meters away from the police out post, at this movement the miscreants pour petrol at the tyre and light the fire but due to timely action taken by the people the bus could be saved from major damage.
The incident took place at the hours when the NGOs call for the Night Road Blocked four days which start today at 7 Pm till 5 Am in the morning. The police are on high alert to see that perpetrator will not have their way to create trouble.(SP News)
