Shillong, Feb 26: The Grand Finale of MEGHALAYA DANCING STAR, the TV show and competition was held on the 25th February, 2013 at the Jaïaw Shyiap & Lumpyllon Community Hall, Shillong. The six finalists who have made it to the Grand Finale are, Annie Kharbani of Mawlai, Mawiong Rim, Freddy L. Sun of Nongrah, Micky Paul Lyngdoh of Mairang, Priyanka Nongkhlaw Mawshbuit, Happy Valley, Sariti Nongsiej Mawkyrwat and Ester Mary Lyngdoh Mawprem.
In this first Meghalaya Dancing star compettion Miss Ester Mary Lyngdoh of Mawpren win the dancing compettiong and Freddy L Sun back the second prize and the rest got the consolation prize. All the participants in this competition are thirty in total.
Apart from the final performances by the finalists, the Grand Finale will also have other entertaining programmes by various artists and will conclude with the Presentation Ceremony after the declaration of results.
The winner will receive a cheque of Rupees Three Lakhs along with a trophy and the Runner-up will receive a cheque of Rupees Fifty Thousand. Consolation prizes will be given to all the finalists.(SP News)
