Shillong, Jan 28: In a major boost to the National People’s Party, Mr. Suly Lyngdoh along with all his supporters joined the NPP and will be contesting from Mawsynram Constituency in the upcoming MDC election.
He joined the party in the presence of State President Dr. W. R. Kharlukhi and Working President Mr. Conrad k.Sangma. Mr. Suly Lyngdoh had contested the MLA election in 2013 as Independent Candidate and secured over 4500 votes.
NPP will be putting up a few more candidates in Khasi Hills and Jaintia Hills District Council election. Party will be releasing name of other candidates in the days to come.(SP News)
