Shillong, Feb 16: Willander Lamare, 35 yrs involved in burning forty year old Anna Khongwar of 4th Mile Upper Shillong surrendered before Madanrting police at around 1 pm.
Lamare the resident of a resident of Madanrting Block F is the son of R K Kharluki.
A case under section 307 and 34 IPC have been registered against Lamare.
On last Sunday, Lamare along with another man set forty year old Anna Khongwar ablaze in a forest near the ARC firing range in Madanrting.
The victim, who received 30 to 35 percent burn injuries was saved by some people. She is undergoing treatment in a city hospital.(SP News)
