Shillong, Feb 28: The District Council Affair (DCA) today ha sent the information to the governor of Meghalaya about the newly elected in the just concluded general election to the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council.
The Commissioner and secretary DCA Mr J Lyngdoh told SP News Agency that from the government today has sent the file to the governor for his approval, it all depend on the direction from the governor secretariat.
When all the newly elected MDC take oath, the house will be call for the first session to elect the chairman of the house in both the KHADC and JHADC before the formation of the new executive committee who will run the affairs of the District Council.(SP News)
