Shillong, Dec 19: Today at around 5.10 am, one CRPF Const. No. 941322964 Bhanwarlal Lal (41 yrs) committed suicide by shooting himself with a service INSAS rifle at 67 Bn., CRPF Camp, Lawjynriew, Nongthymmai.
In another incident Deepak Rai (24 yrs) committed suicide by hanging at Little Star Academy School, Khliehriat under East Jaintia Hills District. The matter is under investigation.
Mr K.B Chettri of Police Reserve, Shillong lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar Police station on Dec. 18 at about 10.45 am, one Ajay Thapa driver of Police requisition vehicle (ML-05-6211), assaulted and threatened him with dire consequences at Police Bazar, Shillong.(SP News)
