Shillong, Oct 16: Today evening 4.30 pm one thatch house of smti Thir Nongrum of Pingwait village under mawkynrew block got burnt while she went fetching water leaving her seven years daughter miss Batihun Nongrum and her baby son one years and nine month Mebankitkhia Nongrum was burnt and die on the spot.
The Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills inform that a team of officer was sent to the spot to inquired the matter.(SP News)
