Person with Fundamentalist Background will not be the Prime Minister: Mukul Sangma

Shillong, Jan 14: Taking a dig at BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Meghalaya Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma said a person having fundamentalist background cannot become Prime Minister.

Sangma said, “He is ambitious hard working but impatient, in context of India a man with this fundamentalist background will not be the prime minister of India.”

He said he sees Rahul Gandhi as the next Prime Minister.

Reacting to Narendra Modi as one of the successful Chief minister of Gujarat, Dr. Sangma said, “I would be happy if you try with chief Minister of Manipur and send him in his place (Modi) and send Modi to Manipur.”

He added, “  See this is third term her him and any chief Minister having the privilege of being in third term  in last decades everybody has been able to demonstrate some success stories  because of the good thing happening in the country.  Whether it is Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh or Bihar where ever there is stability it has happened. Because of the good things happens all over the country. “

He also stated that earlier people were looking for jobs for Rs 30-Rs 40 , unemployment was there, large number of people were living in slums but because of this revolutionary decision to improve the standard of daily wage earners now job opportunity for people has opened situation has improved.

“ Socio economic empowerment for large section of people in the country,” sangma said.(SP News)
