Shillong, May 31: The state Government in its notification issued, has designated the following as public Authority,public Information Officer (PIO), Assistant public Information Officer (APIO) and Appellate Authorities respectively.
In the Administrative Department of sports & Youth Affairs, the under Secretary is the PIO,Superintendent as APIO and Secretary, sports and youth Affairs as Appellate Authority. In the Directorate of sports and Youth Affairs,JNS Complex, the PIO is the Assistant Director of sports and youth Affairs, sports Officer (Hqr) Meghalaya as APIO and Director of sports & youth Affairs as Appellate Authority. In the District sports Officers, the PIOs include District Sports Officer of respective Districts, PTIs of the District Offices as APIO and Director of Sports & Youth Affairs as Appellate Authority.For the state Sports Council Meghalaya, the Chief Engineer SSCM is the PIO, project Engineer 9(1) Officer, SSCM as APIO and Director of sports & Youth Affairs as Appellate Authority. The PIO of the Meghalaya state Olympic Association is the General Secetary,MSOA, Tirot Sing Indoor Hall,Shillong.(SP News)
